JACKMEL is in the form of his life having won three of his last four starts on this track and is only 2lb higher than his latest success. He's never proved he stays further than a mile so stamina has to be taken on trust but this is a poor handicap. Jungle Jungle performed well when runner-up on heavy ground at Gowran but poorly in similar conditions at the Curragh next time. He ran well here as a two-year-old so is one to keep on the right side. The maiden Switch Around found a mile too short at Cork and makes her debut on the track while Ms Thompson showed easily her best form to date when a close third over the track and trip last time. Early Strike has the potential to win this from such a lowly mark but is now 0-21 and finds little at the business end.
