BACK ON TOP had been running well all year before gaining a deserved success here two weeks ago and will take some stopping despite a 7lb rise. Strait Of Zanzibar followed his victory here with another at Laytown four days later and was by no means disgraced from his new mark in a much better race at Tipperary. Angel Of Joy has been reasonably consistent but is making his debut on the surface, unlike Captain Cullen, who scored over the minimum at the Curragh last week but had won over this trip there in August. He's on his highest ever mark on his 49th start but is in such good form that he should get into the frame. Bishan Bedi likes the track and is in good form while An Saighdiur is a classy sprinter but very rarely runs over this trip.
