        Verdict

        CEE JAY is clearly the pick of those with experience having finished a good second to the heavily-supported Fighting Temeraire at Windsor. Unless one of the newcomers is smart, he should go one better. Frozen Force tackled a mile at Brighton but didn't look to have the pace so dropping back in trip may not prove the best option. Tanasoq cost 180,000gns and is a half-brother to two winners over this trip while Silca Star is bred for the distance. Monteverdi cost 57,000gns and is the second foal of a mare whose first won over a mile.
