The lightly-raced Skerray Rules was a 20/1 chance when scoring over this course and distance a fortnight ago and though 7lb higher she has to go on the shortlist with further progress likely. AYE AYE SKIPPER has had a very busy campaign and looked as though he was finished when shooting up the weights after completing a double in the summer but has bounced back and his second place at Navan on Wednesday suggests he can go one better from the same mark. The lightly-raced Peony Rose hadn't shown much until a much better effort over 7f at Tipperary where she finished strongly so with her light weight and an extra furlong she should go well. Doc Holliday has been dropped to 65 and squeezes into the handicap and with a better run here last time he can make his presence felt as can Tribal Path, whose last run over the track and trip was his best for some time.
