    Verdict

FORCE OF HABIT probably found his latest run at the Galway Festival in July coming too soon after a hard-fought win over hurdles at the same meeting three days earlier. It's far too early to write off Dermot Weld's son of Dalakhani, who has been well rested since and is already a C&D winner, and it may be significant that Pat Smullen hangs around to renew his partnership with the four-year-old. The filly Flattery wouldn't be winning out of turn and will have the services of Johnny Murtagh on her return from a short break, while Spring Hawk goes well on an artificial surface and was only beaten half-a-length over C&D latest. Back over a longer trip, Jeangeorges adds to the interest in a tricky finale as does last month's Hamilton winner Broadway Dancer.
