Verdict

WONDER ELZAAM has now had 10 races without winning but did nothing wrong when just failing to hold Feminism over 7f last week. This looks a tougher-than-average maiden but he can finally get his head in front. Mosala showed potential on Turf during the summer and returned after being gelded to finish a close second to Orchid Gardens, who was receiving 12lb. He has to be considered on that form while Solene Lilyette didn't enjoy heavy conditions when favourite at the Curragh. Dream Round had some strong form for Andrew Balding and it won't have done him any harm transferring to the in-form John McConnell.
