There isn't a major bias in the daw here as there's quite a long run to the first bend but Jessica Harrington's pair Coopers Hawk and Brosna Empress have drawn the widest berths of all. Both have become disappointing and though Shane Foley has picked the former the filly’s latest second in a nursery suggests she could be pick of the pair. Zen Silence has also drawn the outside and she ran poorly a fortnight ago after a promising debut last month while though Red Contender won a barrier trial in September, he hasn't shown much in his two races. DEVIL'S OUTLAW is by War Front out of a Grade 3 Dirt winner in the USA. He's a half-brother to a Grade 1 winner in North America and, though he's another starting on the outside, he's taken to make a successful debut. Linda Barrett cost €275,000 and is the first foal of a two-year-old 5f winner from a very speedy family.
