In depth

Verdict

STRADA DI CARSOLI was a very impressive winner over the track and trip last week and though having to carry a penalty he looks a bright prospect and can complete a quick double. Another Story came here for her debut in November and overcame trouble in-running to score narrowly. She's the type to make good progress this season and looks a threat. Colonel Maximus had no problems seeing off A Likely Story on testing ground at Limerick and if acting on this surface should go well while Approcaillis stayed on very strongly to land a 6f handicap here last month and will be suited by the extra furlong. Midnitemudcrabs started favourite in that latter event after scoring over this trip earlier but found things happening too fast and should do better back over tonight's distance.
