In depth

Verdict

Pack It In came here a week ago on soft ground and gained a very comfortable victory for which he's penalised 7lb. The blinkers he wore for the first time that day are left off here. ELOCUTION showed nothing in her first season but had obviously improved massively over the winter as she attracted good support before gaining a very impressive victory over the track and trip at the beginning of the month. She's up 14lb but is still likely to prove better than a 62-rated handicapper. Funny Oyster has run very well on her last two starts over a mile and hasn't been stopping at the finish while Palisade makes his handicap debut after the three requisite runs for a mark and stepping up in trip is certain to suit. Schoolboy Error has a bit more to do than when landing a Chelmsford handicap.
