In depth

Verdict

It's exactly a year since Allure made a promising debut on this card but the long absence is an obvious concern. Ionization showed the benefit of a run at Lingfield with a very good effort on soft ground at the Curragh and she should get into the mix but Lightsome, who had some fair Polytrack form for Clive Cox, appears to have lost his way and has joined a new yard. No Woman No Kry should be more at home on this surface than the heavy ground she encountered at Limerick while the former Godolphin filly Pure Happiness ran her best race at Kempton and showed up well for a long way over a mile here last month. Suvenna has shown a bit of potential but in a tricky race a chance is taken on the newcomer LOST IN LOVE. The Coolmore-owned filly cost 200,000 euros and is closely related to five winners including the useful Mister Manannan.
