Barnhill Rose did well to finish runner-up to a well-supported winner at Gowran and won't need much more to get into contention here. Chica Power, a winner here in February, was placed in a claimer here last time but needs more and though Jackmel and Stop On Red are multiple winners around here neither is in the best of form. THE BOG BANK gained the first victory of his career on his 29th start at Bellewstown in June then followed up over this track and trip. He's continued to perform well and the general lowering of the ratings suggest he's still well enough treated to go in again. Coviglia made a winning debut for new connections here back in March and has continued to run well on Turf.
