In depth

Verdict

Most of these have been running around here all winter with varying degrees of success but there's no denying that CLARE HARRIER has had a very good season. He first ran here in November and finished runner-up off a mark of 47 and is now on 66 after two subsequent victories and another runners-up spot. He was narrowly beaten by Gold Falcon on that latter occasion and though the winner has since been beaten he missed the break and had too much to do. Bualadh Croi was making his handicap debut when creating a shock here a fortnight ago beating the consistent He's Got Rhythm in a driving finish. He's up 7lb here but should still go well along with Black N Brew, though his strike rate of 1-29 on the all-weather is off-putting.
