Sweet Annathea, a winner here in January, has struggled at the revised weights while Tsar Paul, though well enough treated, hasn't been seen since June. Phils Wish has been narrowly beaten in a couple of poor Wolverhampton handicaps and has been raised in the weights so the vote goes to DOONARD PRINCE. He scored over track and trip in January and though subsequently behind a couple of these rivals he's been staying on strongly and with heavy rain forecast the track may be riding slow. Refuse To Sell is very moderate but arrives in decent form as does Sylvan Mist though both are drawn out wide which won't aid their cause.
