In depth

Verdict

Puerta De Vega is the only one of these not to have had a run here but with just four runs behind him can be expected to improve. Ramon Di Loria landed a 6f Sligo maiden then ran quite well in a much better race back there last month. Devious Dreamer lost his maiden tag over this trip at Gowran but was well beaten when tackling 1m1f at the Curragh. DANDYVILLE was highly tried in her two runs last season and has improved with each run this campaign, coming with a late burst to land a 6f Fairyhouse handicap a month ago. He's the type to improve again and can defy a 5lb rise. Ablah had Brosna Empress behind when scoring here in November but the latter made the greater strides subsequently. Bears Hug has run well in handicaps on Turf and is another to consider.
