HENCE showed plenty of first-season potential and started favourite on her reappearance in a huge field on heavy going at Naas. She found one to good at the finish but, with the extra furlong certain to suit, can go one better. Her stable companion Could It Be Love had three early-season runs last year, all over the minimum, and the superbly-bred daughter of War Front should be winning soon. Elegant Drama started odds-on when making her debut here in November but found Princess Yaiza just too strong. The winner went on to land a nursery in easy fashion so the form looks decent. Wishing Star, who was staying on nicely on her debut here in September, is by Galileo so looks one to note.
