      Verdict

      Aardwolf continues to give the impression he’s a non-stayer over hurdles but he did finish ahead of Don Herbager here two weeks ago when a well-beaten third. MICK THE POSER was a bit disappointing at Wetherby in November when last seen but he’d earlier finished close up at Sedgefield and Carlisle and a repeat of either of those efforts would probably suffice in this with Never A Word having a fourth run in a relatively shorts space of time. Royal Sunday showed little on the Flat but would not need to be a world-beater to figure on jumping debut.
