Rock Pipit will be having his first start beyond a mile but hasn't been stopping over that trip and came up against a well handicapped horse when beaten here last month. He was receiving 5lbs when beating Battleoftrafalgar in a maiden over a mile here in November and the latter showed he has no problems with the longer trip when runner-up to Puncher Clynch on his reappearance. EMRANI began his career in handicaps off a mark of 63 following three modest juvenile efforts and he had no problems gaining his maiden success over the course and distance a month ago. A 9lbs rise makes life difficult but he's probably capable of further progress. My Point Exactly is another who is expected to do better having shown decent form in his first season and looking as though the run would do him good at Limerick on his return to action.
