Verdict

Have A Great Day wasn't beaten far in any of his five starts at the back end of 2013 and, if Andy Oliver has him ready, he has to be a threat. Blueberry Gal has bits and pieces of form though this is her all-weather debut but Cutting Corners was a 33/1 chance when placed on her debut here in November, where she stayed on nicely despite running green. Some Character had shown promise in his two opening runs but didn't appreciate soft going at Sligo in August. Mick Halford won this a year ago and his newcomer IN THE DARK wouldn't need to be anything special to make a successful start in what looks a poor contest.
