Brosnan dropped back to a mile last week and ran his best race for some time when narrowly beaten by Ringside Humour with Rummaging close behind in fourth. Song Of Love hasn't won over a trip this far but was staying on strongly behind Poitin three weeks ago and looks reasonably treated. MARISE has twice finished behind Political Policy this winter but is massively better off at the weights. She looks to have a fair chance to get back to winning ways here. Shalaman won this a year ago and is 14lb higher. He's much better handicapped on Turf and will be worth noting in the early part of the season.
