It's difficult to know what to make of LUSIS NATUREA, who had only hinted at ability before landing a course and distance maiden last week by almost 10 lengths. He was very well supported to do so and connections will probably believe he's better than an 83-rated handicapper so he gets the vote to continue his progress. Sea of Blue finally lost his maiden tag a week ago with a battling victory but a 9lb rise looks harsh for what he achieved while Dove Mountain has been a beaten favourite on his last two starts at Wolverhampton, where he gained his only all-weather success in November. Locus Standi could provide the main threat as he ran his best race to date when runner-up to Poitin in January, when Corker Hill was behind, then appeared to find an extra two furlongs stretching his stamina last month.
