Russian Soul has won ten races but rarely runs over the minimum trip these days and has been campaigning over 6f/7f in recent weeks. UK raider Swiss Cross has won eleven times including his last three at Lingfield though he hasn't run over the minimum since June of last year. AGGRESSION, a winner on his debut here two years ago, was having only his third subsequent start when landing a course and distance handicap two weeks ago and a 7lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run so he gets the nod. Runner-up Master Bond must have a chance of reversing the form on the revised terms while fourth-placed Sahreej wasn't beaten far and can also get involved. Complicit, one of five trained by Jonny Levins, was beaten over six lengths in that latter event and hasn't won for almost two years while stable companion Bainne's last two victories have been over a mile. Dance Alone won at Beverley for Kevin Ryan in August and made a fair start for new connections when chasing home Cappadacia in a 6f claimer here three weeks ago.
