Legal Lyric has shown a glimmer of ability and can't be dismissed given her connections, a remark that also applies to Beart, who is just 4lb higher than for his only victory to date on this track a year ago. Greatest is one to keep an eye on as he makes his handicap debut but Atticus Finch has a huge weight to carry after a 5lb rise for his victory early last month though Eddie Lynam puts up a 10lb claimer to reduce the burden. Dimitar also represents the County Meath trainer and he's been running better than his form figures suggest so should get involved. Alvar has been in superb form but another 6lb rise makes life difficult so it's EDITH COWAN who gets the nod despite her latest defeat by Dimitar as she has now dropped to a winnable mark. Jouster looks best of the remainder in a wide-open handicap.
