This looks tricky as many of the entries have won over the course or the distance including top weight Soldiers Hill, an easy maiden winner here in July but well beaten when dropped to 2m3f next time. YA BOY YA was well supported for a 2m2f maiden here last month but didn't get a strong enough stamina test and was narrowly beaten. He went to Tramore for a 2m4f handicap and stormed clear of his rivals which suggests this longer trip and easier ground is just what's required. Chasing Abbey is ideally suited by this trip but has crept up the weights without winning while Basil's Boy couldn't quite hold on at Tramore having gone up 7lb for a previous victory there. It Takes Time and Golden Nomad are closely matched on the their 1-2 over the track and trip three weeks ago.
