In depth

Verdict

Zoffalee won easily at Ballinrobe last time but is upped in class and raised 10lb. Killiney Court was well beaten on his reappearance and remains 7lb higher than when landing this race last year but Shimmer And Shine can figure having found only Dynamic Allen, due to run in the previous race, too good over these hurdles last month. Skeaping won a handicap at Clonmel under Davy Russell before a poor effort at Tramore and the latter is back on board stablemate RAKHINE STATE (NAP) today. Gordon Elliott’s charge made a successful trip over to Perth in novice hurdle company last time and third-placed Fanzio has subsequently boosted the form by landing a handicap. Le Vagabond hasn’t won over timber since 2016 but the handicapper is still reluctant to do him any favours.
