Verdict
In A Pinch defied an 8lb rise in the weights at Tramore to land a hat-trick. She’s been raised a further 9lb but most of that is negated by a conditional’s allowance and another bold bid is expected. PUT THE KETTLE ON also arrives in good heart having won a beginners’ chase at Kilbeggan last time. But an earlier close-up third over timber at Punchestown is the more pertinent form and Henry De Bromhead’s mare gets the vote to come out best. There was cut in the ground when Beat Of The Sea won at Kilbeggan a fortnight while Dynamic Allen and Dollys Destination won their penultimate starts but both found one too good last time. Duke's Girl represents Gordon Elliott but was due to run here yesterday.
