Maimie's Magic landed handicaps at Kelso and Newcastle before taking on stronger company at Musselburgh where she wasn't disgraced. Circus Act easily won a Hereford maiden before narrowly beaten in a four-runner race at Doncaster while SOLDARO is progressing nicely and makes her handicap debut. Well supported for a Clonmel maiden a month ago, she had plenty in hand and looks well enough treated to complete a double. Queenie Newall, a winner on the Flat in the UK, hasn't run since easily her best effort to date at Leopardstown a year ago while Punchestown maiden winner Return to Base hasn't proved herself on this sort of ground.
