As with the previous race, Gordon Elliott has a young hurdler lurking at the bottom of the handicap who should prove well enough treated to gain his first success. MUSTADRIK had shown nothing until stepped up to this trip for the first time at Clonmel last week but stayed on nicely from the rear and was only beaten just over a length. He looks certain to prove better than an 88-rated hurdler in time and this looks his day though be advised that the last four renewals have produced two 25/1, a 16/1 and 14/1 winners. Cousin Bill showed some potential over timber last spring and has been in excellent form between the flags while Encore Une Annee found the soft ground against her at Downpatrick after a much better run on quicker going at Wexford. It's difficult to get excited about the remainder though Drive The Bus has dropped to his lowest ever mark.
