NORTHER BAY has been unfortunate not to have lost his maiden tag over fences and can put matters right here. Eoin Griffin's charge was only just behind Turf War at Wexford last time and has been found a good opportunity. Rookery Rebel looks the main threat as he may have won here in March but for falling at the second last when still in front. He's been reasonably consistent since and will make a bold bid but So Determined, who was only beaten a head by Macs Mandalus at Roscommon last time, looks as though he needs further. Warne was a useful and progressive novice over hurdles who hasn't quite got the hang of the bigger obstacles just yet though he's with the right man to turn things around.
