Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Bearly Legal was always more likely to make a chaser and is definitely on the short-list, though the experience of MR COSMOPOLITAN may prove too much for him. Jim Dreaper's charge has jumped well in his three starts over shorter trips and has been staying on well enough to suggest he'll be up to this. Never Complain, successful between the flags on his debut, showed improved form over timber last time and is another certain to be better suited by regulation fences. Vasco Du Mee has been well beaten in all three starts over fences but in better company than this and is young enough to make progress.
