Annie Oakley battled to victory at Punchestown in January but couldn't follow up when strongly fancied at Navan where an early mistake unsettled her. Another Challenger scored at Navan in December and was 10lb higher when catching Mini Vic close home at Thurles. He loves heavy ground so some rain would aid his cause as it would Day Dream Boy, whose victory over the frustrating Easy Vic in January has been boosted by the runner-up. He had earlier narrowly defeated Rightville Boy at Limerick off level weights while TIPPED UP HARRY beat the latter by over four lengths at Punchestown in receipt of 8lb. That suggests there's very little between the pair here but it's the latter who is just handed the vote. The consistent but so far winless Vincent Row looks best of the remainder.
