Altiepix landed a moderate beginners event at Fairyhouse last month in the style of an improver. He wouldn't have been asked to carry a big weight on his handicap debut unless connections were confident of a big run. Winning hunter FLYNSINI ran easily his best race to date in a handicap when chasing home Coolnagorna Giggs at Thurles last month with the remainder well beaten. A repeat can see him take this in receipt of a stone from the top weight. Hurricane Ivan has yet to win over fences but has been coming up against in-form rivals including at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago when runner-up to Sunsetstorise, though beaten a long way. Triple point-to-point winner Itsnoteasyted was having only his second start over regulation fences when a close third at Musselburgh last month and with his rider's claim a bonus looks a threat to all.
