Winning point-to-pointer Call Vinnie showed promise in his first bumper runs but was completely tailed off on his return from a long break at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day. Billy Billy landed a point and a bumper on heavy going before a decent debut over timber at Fairyhouse where she led for much of the way. Briar Lane has come up against some smart opposition in bumpers and is the type to make a nice hurdler while Infrontofthejudge ran his best race to date over the course and distance in December though a longer trip would probably help. Stowaway Shark was having his first run for a very long time when third at Limerick's Christmas fixture on testing ground and should improve though STEAMBOAT BILL, who improved when stepped up in trip at Naas last time and looks certain to be staying on when others have had enough, looks the one to be on.
