In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins won this three times with short-priced favourites before the sequence was interrupted a year ago and has two entries this time. Sancta Simona made a very impressive start over hurdles when beating the useful Bakmaj at Galway but DONT HESITATE, who dead-heated for a Grade 3 bumper in France, could hardly have won more easily on her debut for the yard at Ballinrobe where she overcame some sloppy jumping. She gets the nod though Make My Heart Fly will be no pushover. Gordon Elliott's mare completed a four-timer in minor company and ran very well when tackling better rivals at Cheltenham last time. Jessica Harrington is also double-handed and Holding Pattern has some fair form at Listed level while The Princetonian found 2m6f much too far at Limerick, though would probably be suited by further than this.
