Gordon Elliott had five entered at the early stage and relies on Officer Cadet, penalised for a comfortable bumper victory here in May and making his debut over hurdles. VELVET MAKER is also carrying extra for a bumper success in France but he's already had experience over timber having finished third to the high-class pair Vautour and Lieutenant Colonel at Navan in December. That looks the best form of those with experience and he can take this though Jessica Harrington has a good record in the race and Rock The World has some decent credentials having been placed behind several useful winners including when runner-up in this a year ago. Noel Meade is another who has done well in the race over the years and Glenmoreangie will have benefited from his run at Navan in March while John Kiely does well with ex-point-to-pointers and Minella Berry was well supported when making a successful debut at Kilworth in March. Hootie ran very well behind Tom's Article at Navan but will probably need more while Klinnsman was well beaten when favourite on his hurdling debut at Gowran a month ago though he'll have learnt from the experience.
