Firefright was thereabouts in all four runs last season but was beaten again on his reappearance at Newmarket when starting favourite. Though it would be no surprise to see him get off the mark here, others are less exposed. Mountain Angel showed progressive form on the all-weather over the winter and Gilded Reflection showed promise in Ireland when trained by David Wachman. Akdaar and Rubens Dream are newcomers worth a market check while Made Of Honour was second on debut over track and trip earlier this month, though still beaten seven lengths. MOKHALAD, a 500,000gns son of Dubawi, is related to a host of winners, including the useful Regal Parade and Entifaadha. Too green to do himself justice on his only run last year, he hasn’t been kept in training for nothing.
