Brave Prospector is head and shoulders above those that have made racecourse appearences, illustrated by a fine fourth in a Group 3 event at Newbury towards the end of last season. Two lengths in front of him was the smart Iguazu Falls while previous to that, his two outings were in what appeared hot maidens. The promise he displayed in those maidens was confirmed at Newbury and he is a horse of some potential. Of the remainder Moothir and Louis Seffens displayed some promise in one outing to date. Mark Johnsons' Moothir finished third in a maiden from which the form has disappointly only emerged average, those behind him failing to get off the mark since while Louis Seffens was seemingly unfancied when a fast finishing second in a Doncaster back end maiden. The worth of that form has still to emerge but first impressions were that it was an average contest of its kind. Game Hunt is related to some smart performers and from the John Gosden yard, money should be noted. Brave Prospector should prove too good for these and is our nomination to land division one of the maiden.
