In depth

Verdict

Far Horizon was a disappointing favourite at Hereford and, despite only finding one too good, Haas Boy probably didn’t run up to the form of his first run at Southwell. BOLD REACTION is essentially Flat bred so did well to win a point in Ireland in October. He is a half-brother to a hurdles winner and can make a winning debut under Rules. Kelso winner Prairie Wolf was beaten under a penalty at Carlisle but Fame And Fun should improve on his sixth at Wincanton while Our Marty was a fair second here in November. Accidental Legend is also an interesting newcomer being a full brother to a hurdles winner and a half-brother to useful staying chaser Cloth Cap.
