This has been run four times and Willie Mullins has won them all including with Kemboy and Allaho. BACARDYS, a dual Grade 1 winner over timber, isn’t in their class over fences but this represents a huge drop in grade after his runs behind Bob Olinger at Gowran and in a Leopardstown Grade 1 so he should have the legs of these. Stable companion Egality Mans has much more scope over fences though his jumping has left plenty to be desired. He’s looked a potential winner in his last two starts over hurdles and fences before coming to grief and would be a major threat if jumping round. Grand Paradis has won a bumper and scored over hurdles here but has been making far too many mistakes over fences and though Everglow has been getting round some of these have more potential. Minella Escape is another who has blundered away his chances over fences though Rachael picks him over the stable’s other two entries.
