The Blind Piper, a dual winner between the flags, needs a stiff test of stamina which he hasn’t had so far. Outback Flyer showed potential in a couple of starts over timber but was well beaten in a Listed bumper at Navan. Valirann Gold has shown a little bit of promise, which may be enough in this poor quality event, but a chance is taken on UKNOWCARTY. He hadn’t shown much before niggled at in the market and running much better when getting a stiffer test over 2m3f on heavy going at Limerick last month.
