Western Victory went off far too quickly over 3m at Ascot last week and stopped to nothing in the home straight. She is unlikely to get as much leeway over this much shorter trip and could get outpaced in the closing stages. Miss Heritage has proved a consistent sort in handicaps but probably needs softer ground. MIRANDA has 8lb more to carry than when successful last year but gave 23lb and a beating to a good yardstick at Ludlow last month, despite blowing the start, and an earlier second at Wetherby is working out well so she can get the better of Irish raider Anna Bunina, who will strip fitter for a run at Musselburgh.
