Caprivi showed great promise on her debut and is taken to score on her second start at the expense of Saleima and Ainia. The selection ran second at Newbury in what looked like a competitive maiden. She ran prominently throughout the race but lacked the pace of the winner in the closing stages. She will certainly progress with that experience under her belt and for that reason she is difficult to oppose. Saleima has experience on her side and was thought good enough to run in against Listed company on her last run as a two year old. She has run with credit on both her outings this season in handicaps and should be good enough to enter the frame. Ainia caught the eye at Goodwood when finishing fourth of eleven showing vast improvement from her debut, and she is another that has place claims if improving further. But for the winner we return to Caprivi.
