GO ON BE A LADY makes her hurdling bow this afternoon and is nominated ahead of the penalised pair of Ellen Tilley and Argento Luna and the promising Speed Boat Bonnie. This looks an intriguing contest and the shortlist has many a contender on it. The selection, a half-sister to Jimmy Bond, has shown ability in three bumper starts and looks the type to relish jumping an obstacle. Argento Luna has been frustrating to follow recently. She won a weakish race earlier in the year and has paid the penalty as a result; she can be recalcitrant and looks a tricky ride. Speed Bonnie Boat looks more straightforward and she appears to have been unlucky in that she has bumped into some good ones to date. Ellen Tilley has now won two in a row and did it nicely last time on her hurdling debut. Penalised accordingly she has a tougher task today, but her trainer should know where he stands with Speed Bonnie Boat as he sent out Dancingwithbubbles to beat her last time. Wistow was a place further back on that occasion and is not to be dismissed readily, whilst Lindeman's run behind Bakbenscher looks pretty solid form in the context of this race. A tricky puzzle to solve, with the vote going narrowly to Go On Be A Lady.
