NOTICEABLE won on the bridle last time and is taken to take this race, although the presence of Sparkling Montjeu and Sergheyev add some more spice to the mix. The selection was impressive over this course and distance just nine days ago when he was well-backed and won as he liked. This looks tougher, however the stable remain in good form and this looks to be the right grade for Alan King's son of Night Shift. Back from an absence, Brendan Powell's Sergheyev is well-treated at these weights and is capable. However he was pulled up at Fontwell when last seen as if something was amiss. Sparkling Montjeu only has the one win to her name but she is nicely-bred as the name might suggest and she could make a fair broodmare for anyone wanting to invest on that front. Act Sirius has had a two-month break since his last run. Again he was pulled up but he certainly has ability although he has had a few homes; if back to his best then he must be of interest. Not the worst claimer around, but it looks a good chance for the in-form Noticeable to win again.
