Jamie Osborne's two-year-olds have been in such good form that Overdrawn might be able to defy topweight, but don't rule out big runs from Pivotal Guest, River Nurey and Senor Bond. The selection was not beaten far in a Listed Italian race on heavy last time and, back at this level, the dual winner must be competitive. Mick Channon has always thought a lot of Pivotal Guest and he might just be the type to improve at this time of year. Senor Bond is well regarded but disappointed when backed on his first run over this trip last time at Catterick. River Nurey has the profile of an improver and his trainer has a very good record at this track. One or two others ave bits of form but, overall, Overdrawn gets a slightly tentative vote.
