In depth

Verdict

VALDERMORO (NAP) has the best form of these by some margin. He was nine clear of the rest when third to subsequent Group 2 winner Mystery Power at Haydock last month and the runner-up has also won since. Cipango may prove best of the others with experience while the Godolphin newcomer Global Storm is the first foal of a decent stayer and Maqtal is related to several winners. But Sky Vega cost a whopping E600,000 as a brother to the top-class Belardo and may prove the biggest threat of the debutants.
