Verdict

Though he won a small race at Wetherby in April, Admirality is starting to look a light of former days. Equiano Springs is also an eight-year-old but has run well fresh in the past and Desert Doctor wasn’t disgraced in a couple of runs on Dirt in Dubai earlier in the year. Abu Malek made a winning debut over track and trip last month and was only beaten a neck over 5f on a return visit. He still has scope but so does HIYA MAITE (NAP), who also makes his handicap debut having run a subsequent winner, now rated 89, to a neck at Nottingham.
