Another simple handicap to dissect with narrow preference for SILVER REGENT ahead of Offshore Anna, Shaloo Diamond, Liberally, Majeen and Ogre who all come here on the back of wins in lesser company. Amanda Perrett has her horses in rare form with 15 winners in September and October so far, which considering her total so far this year is 31, suggests that some of the slower-learners/developers are now ready to strike. Silver Regent should be fit after his reappearance run at Windsor eleven days ago and he is expected to run well with that experience under his belt. Of the recent winners Liberally's form probably stands up best, whilst St Jean Cap Ferrat is decent but has only the one win to his name and under top-weight he is unlikely to add to it. Wellington Square and Theonebox both have a little to prove on their handicap debuts, whilst Hucking Hero and Special Reserve are both consistent if somewhat unspectacular. At a price the blinkers may bring about an improved performance from Mega Watt, however it is Silver Regent who is taken to lead them home.
