      Verdict

      QIPAO has come up short in Pattern races since completing a double over the summer. She’ll find this easier now handicapping for the first time and Mark Johnston’s filly can defy a penalty. Spitting Feathers also drops in class having been gelded since last in action and better is expected today while Way To Win scored on soft going at Lingfield two runs ago but finished behind third-placed Mercurial at Chester last month. General Panic and Dunkirk Lads step up in trip having both won novice races over 6f earlier in the year.
