Verdict

Kimngrace won nicely at York last time when Nomadic Empire returned a disappointing favourite. Came From The Dark won off a similar mark when last seen in a handicap though finished behind Designer in Listed company at Ascot recently. Lullaby Bay went close in a conditions sprint at Musselburgh and stablemate Fast Response won in soft going at Nottingham while Vintage Clarets placed in last week’s Catterick Dash ahead of Count D'Orsay and COPPER KNIGHT (NAP). The latter needs to step up on that form but it was soft going when he forced a dead-heat for first in this last year and Tim Easterby’s sprinter is 8lb lower this time.
