        Verdict

        AESOP’S FABLES has come up short at this highest level, most recently in the Dewhurst. But Aidan O’Brien drops the Group 2 winner down in both class and distance for this and he’s clear of the others at the weights. Stablemate Hispanic is a maiden winner over the minimum trip while compatriot Wodao is a Listed winner over 5f at Tipperary. The novice winner Bresson is fitted with blinkers today and should have the measure of Al Dasim and Simple Man back over his winning trip.
